Coleman Health Services is a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community. We are seeking Chat/Text Crisis Specialist in Lima, OH. This is not a remote position. 

Pay: $22.00/hour

Shift: 2nd shift, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am; Monday-Friday. Some weekend availability is required.

Duties include:

• Provide crisis intervention, support, and referrals via chat or text.
• Effectively complete risk assessments via chat or text
• Work collaboratively with the visitor to create a safety plan
• Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, objectivity, professionalism, effective customer service skills, and sound clinical judgment in the course of all work.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure client needs are met
• Consult with a supervisor on clinical needs as appropriate
• Accurately document interactions

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Must be willing to complete and have favorable results for criminal background check, drug/alcohol screening, and driving check if selected for the position
• Past or current experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care is preferred
