Child & Family Therapist, Community Based, IHBT - Full Time - Summit County

Coleman Health Services is seeking a licensed social worker (LSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), or therapist to be a full time therapist/counselor for our Intensive Home Based Therapy (IHBT) program. Make a difference in the lives of children and families at risk for out-of-home placement. As an IHBT Therapist/Counselor, your short-term involvement (3-6 months) will make a long-term impact to the child and family. You will have a small caseload of up to 7 clients at a time, giving you the opportunity to spend 3-5 hours a week with each family, fostering meaningful relationships to help families heal and build resilience. This job is based out of Akron, Ohio, and serving Summit County. We also have openings in Steubenville (Jefferson County), Kent (Portage County) and Canton (Stark County).

  • Pays $60,000- $73,000 annually dependent on licensure and experience

Qualified Candidates for Therapist, Community Based, IHBT:

  • Bachelor's degree with LSW or Master's degree with LPC
  • Must have NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Prefer someone with  Master's degree and LISW or LPCC
