Crisis Therapist - FT - Trumbull County

We are seeking a diligent and responsible individual to join our customer-centered emergency crisis team of professionals to work with individuals experiencing immediate mental health crises. 

Must have a Bachelor's degree with an LSW and a minimum of one year experience working with crisis services or Master's Degree with an LPC, LPCC or LISW.  Prefer someone with two years' experience in working with crisis services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to individuals in need.
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate care and treatment plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to assist patients in crisis management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Stay updated on best practices and techniques in crisis counseling and intervention.

Must have a Bachelor's degree, LSW and a minimum of one year experience working with crisis services. Prefer someone with a Master's degree in Counseling with an LPC or LPCC, or LISW with two years' experience in working with crisis services.

Individual must be willing to work some weekends and rotating holidays. 

Employee Package includes:

  • Salary range of $60,000-$65,000 annually based on experience and licensure

Qualifications of Counselor/Therapist LPC, LSW, or Higher:

  • Master's degree and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
  • Experience working with mental health and substance use disorder preferred
  • Have or willing to obtain NPI and Ohio Medicaid numbers and a CAQH account
  • Have a valid driver's license and maintain driving privileges
