Director of Facilities Management

Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs, is seeking a Director of Facilities Management located in Portage County, Ohio. This position is in-office Monday - Friday in our Kent office location.

Key Duties of the Director of Facilities Management include:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day business operations of facilities for the organization
  • Handle details of contract preparation and negotiation
  • Coordinate and responsible for Building Safety and Loss Prevention Plans
  • Supervise staff allocated to service
  • Responsible for financial goals and budget management
  • Manage Coleman Safety Committee and operations of Workers' Compensation compliance through Portage County Safety Council participation
  • Provide leadership on corporate capital projects
  • Work cross-functionally and across the Coleman footprint to manage safety concerns and alleviate risk
  • Participate in required on-call duties as maintenance/operational support staff after hours and on holidays

Minimum Qualifications of Director of Facilities Management:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years' experience in procurement, contracts review, and/or management
  • Above average MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
  • Maintain an acceptable and valid driver license
  • Strong philosophy supporting customer service and continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to execute complex operation systems and to identify and improve systemic conditions and issues
  • Ability to communicate complex or technical issues to all levels within the organization
  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively as a team, interacting with clients, clinicians, both administrative and support staff, and vendors
  • Able to exercise balanced judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions, and to handle difficult or confrontational situations in a calm, consistent, and equitable manner

Preferred candidates will have an associate's degree in business or a related field; successful business development experience and advanced MS Word, Excel, and Outlook experience.
