Coleman Health Services a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs is seeking a full-time Financial Specialist for our Summit and Portage County locations. This position will be working on site between both the Summit and Portage locations.

Job duties included for the Financial Specialist:
· Performing financial interviews with clients to determine financial status and eligibility for assistance
· Maintaining financial files on each client
· Reviewing monthly client statements
· Providing client support services in resolving billing/collections issues
· Processing failed claims/failed activities, and more
Minimum Qualifications needed to be a successful Financial Specialist:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience working with medical insurance companies and client registration
· Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
· Excellent customer service skills
· Able to work effectively and collaboratively as a team, interacting with clients, clinicians, and administrative and support staff
· Able to exercise balanced judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
· Able to handle difficult or confrontational situations in a calm, consistent, and equitable manner
