Human Resources & Compliance Generalist

We are seeking a Human Resources & Compliance Generalist to provide support to employees and managers on matters including employee relations, benefits, training, payroll, recruitment, performance management, and employment law. This position is 100% in-office and based out of our Kent, Ohio, location.

What are we looking for from the HR Generalist?

  • Recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding
    • Create job postings, post to applicable sites
  • Participate in recruiting events
  • Assist with screening and interviewing candidates
  • Provide recruitment guidance and share recommendations for process improvements.
  • Oversee candidates complete various required screenings and ensure all required paperwork is collected prior to hire and when onboarding
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process, and complete training letters.
  • HR leadership and support
    • Advocate for employees and be a resource for both employees and managers
  • Mediate differences between employees, and help managers improve their relationships with their employees
  • Lead and conduct unbiased employee-related investigations
  • Coordinate Company events
  • Serve as front-line support to answer employees' HR-related questions (benefits, compensation, etc.)
  • Volunteer and Intern Coordination
  • Assist with compliance audits as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

What Qualifications will you need to be successful as a HR Generalist?

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of related HR experience with emphasis on recruitment/selection and employee relations
  • Creativity with finding qualified candidates
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized with a record of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office; and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preference given to the following candidates:

  • Have relevant Human Resources and Compliance experience in a healthcare setting
