Coleman Health Services is a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community. We are seeking a Mental Health, Youth, or Family Peer Support Specialist to provide peer support services as a member of the Summit County Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) Team. The peer support specialist provides guidance, hope and support towards recovery through personal experience and growth on a reciprocal basis. This position is full-time working three 12 hour shifts per week.
Duties Include:
Candidates will have lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child who has been involved with behavioral healthcare services, have and maintain an excellent driving record, and have at least a high school diploma. Strongly prefer candidates with a Family or Youth Peer Support certification through the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
