Duties of Office/Medical Assistant (I Promise HealthQuarters) include:

• Taking and documenting patient vital signs including weight, blood pressure, and pulse using automated equipment
• Submitting urine drug screens
• Submitting/sending medical records
• Answering phones
• Greeting customers
• Notifying staff of client arrival
• Scheduling/confirming appointments
• Verifying insurance
• Completing portions of electronic health record data form
• Distributing mail
• Performing other general office duties

Qualified Office/Medical Assistant (I Promise HeatlhQuarters) candidates will be able to multitask, maintain confidentiality, engage with cultural humility, work collaboratively, and stay calm during crisis situations. Must have a high school diploma, two years of medical office experience, and experience with EHR. Previous medical records experience and excellent professionalism are preferred. This position is located in Akron at the I Promise HealthQuarters.
