RN - FT - Summit County, OH

Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized mental health and substance use services provider, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our office and the I Promise headquarters, both  located in Akron, Ohio. This position is a day shift Monday – Friday.  No weekends or major holidays!

Candidate must be detail oriented, able to consult with psychiatrists, triage phone calls, monitor medication, have excellent assessment skills, and be able to problem solve to obtain medications.  Must be able to work with a team to help promote health and remove barriers to care for psychiatry and physical health. In addition, able to interact with clients of various populations (SUD, MH, BH, DD, SPMI, etc.) including pediatric nursing. 

Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) candidates:

  • Ohio Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Willing to obtain or have NPI and an Ohio Medicaid number

Preference given to Registered Nurse (RN) candidates that also have experience with:

  • Mental health/psychiatric nursing
  • Pediatric nursing
  • Electronic health records (EHR)
