Duties include, but not limited to:
-Pulling and filing clinical records;
-Scanning and indexing documentation into Electronic Client Records (ECR); Thinning, repairing, creating and destroying charts;
-Fulfilling requests for and requesting Protected Health Information (PHI) from various entities
Qualified candidate will have an understanding and ability to follow laws and regulations, including HIPAA. This position requires frequent bending, stretching and ability to lift 25 pounds. Must have high school diploma and/or Business College certificate; knowledge of office procedures; ability to work cooperatively with co-workers, clients and general public; ability to plan and organize assignments; ability and willingness to work flexible hours between Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 5:00pm as needed. Associates degree in Health Information or related field and knowledge of Microsoft office products preferred.
