Senior Executive of Mobile Response & Stabilization Services (MRSS)

Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health, mental health and rehabilitation programs, seeks a full-time Senior Executive Director of Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) to provide leadership and oversight for the implementation, development, organization, expansion, supervision, quality improvement, and sustainability of MRSS services for Summit County, Ohio.

Duties for Senior Executive Director of Mobile Response and Stabilization Services include but not limited to:

  • Assists with the hiring of Executive Directors for each region, and assists with the hiring of any MRSS staff at CHS and as requested by contract agencies.
  • Strategize with the Sr Chief Officer and the VP of Clinical Services the implementation, development, organization, quality improvement and sustainability of each MRSS Region.
  • Understands and ensures that all MRSS practice standards are met at CHS and at all contract agencies.
  • Acts as a member of the Clinical Council at CHS.
  • Understands MRSS Fidelity Standards.
  • Assures each MRSS team completes a fidelity review.
  • Ensures Executive Directors identify and build collaborative relationships with regional/community stakeholders and systems of care through BAA's/MOU's.
  • Ensures communication regarding MRSS services is coordinated with stakeholders, such as CME's, FCFC's, schools, Department of Job and Family Services, Behavioral Health Organizations, Courts, law enforcement, hospitals, NAMI, physicians, Public Child Serving Agencies, Mental Health Boards, etc.
  • Works with Coleman Chief Officers, Sr. Chief Officers, and VP of Clinical Operations to accomplish Coleman Strategic Initiatives.
  • Ensures Executive Directors establish Regional Success Committees for each region to monitor progress, identify barriers, collaborate and advance the work of MRSS in the region. Attends Success Committee meetings, monitors trends, identifies barriers and potential solutions for regional and state operational efficiency and quality care.
  • Establishes an MRSS budget with each Executive Director in collaboration with the CHS Fiscal Department.
  • Monitors each Regional budget with the Executive Director for billing, revenue, and works in partnership with the Revenue Cycle Team to ensure services are billed correctly.
  • Attends monthly finance meetings with each Executive Director and the Revenue Cycle Team and Fiscal Team to review revenue and expenses.
  • Identifies concerns associated with billing, expenses or revenue to solve any issues.
  • Ensures the Sr Chief Officer is aware of revenue and expenses and options for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for Senior Executive Director of Mobile Response and Stabilization Services:

  • A master's degree with Independent Licensure from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Two years' experience working with individuals with psychiatric/behavioral health disorders in a community, residential, crisis or hospital setting.
  • At least two years of experience working with individuals with psychiatric/behavioral health disorders in a community, residential, crisis or hospital setting.
  • Demonstration and maintenance of competency in trauma informed treatment of persons under the age of 21.
  • The ability to create and form effective teams who interact with clients, employees, vendors.
  • Ability to exercise balanced judgment in evaluating situations, making decisions, handling difficult, confrontational decisions involving risk.
  • Ability to manage such in a calm, consistent, and equitable manner.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications for Senior Executive Director of Mobile Response and Stabilization Services:

  • Two years of supervisory experience post independent licensure.
  • Experience in emergency behavioral health assessment.
  • Direct experience with Mobile Response Stabilization Services
