Train the Next Generation of Care Coordinators

Coleman Health Services is seeking an experienced behavioral health professional to join our OhioRISE team as a Trainer supporting Care Coordination staff. This role focuses on preparing new Care Coordinators to successfully support youth with complex behavioral health needs through OhioRISE's high-fidelity Wraparound model. This position is in our Ravenna, Ohio, office and serves Portage County.

What You'll Do

  • Lead structured onboarding and orientation for new Care Coordinators, ensuring consistent delivery of core curriculum across the CME.
  • Design and facilitate group-based and individual training courses covering core content areas for Care Coordinators.
  • Observe Care Coordinators in practice to assess skill application and reinforce training concepts.
  • Develop and coordinate structured shadowing and skill-building frameworks aligned with onboarding milestones and competency expectations.
  • Evaluate and document trainee competency progression, providing formal recommendations for field readiness to Managers.
  • Lead continuous improvement of training programs by updating curricula, developing new tools, and integrating lessons from field trends.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Employed as an OhioRISE Care Coordinator for a minimum of 12 months.
  • 3+ years' experience in children's behavioral health
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain NPI and Ohio Medicaid numbers (assistance available)
