Charge Nurse
Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized nonprofit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community. We are seeking a Charge Nurse to join our team in Chillicothe, Ohio where you will provide direct care to our patients, including facilitating social and emotional needs, supervising medication schedules, and evaluating patient progress for clients. Staff in this role will work three 12-hour shifts a week.

Job Duties:
- Provide case work for clients receiving Psychiatric services, including assessment; establishing treatment plans; monitoring progress; identifying the need for emergency sessions; scheduling medication evaluation, health screenings, and referrals; and linking with services at or beyond Coleman.
- Administer, monitor, and document medication progress as prescribed by the Psychiatrist.
- Complete Individual Service Plans, DLA-20, Level of Care, and other documentation as directed.
- Participate in team-based responses to behavioral and psychiatric emergencies, including implementation of seclusion and restraint interventions when clinically indicated and authorized in accordance with Ohio law, agency policy, and approved training methods.
- Utilize verbal de-escalation, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention techniques to reduce risk and support stabilization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ohio Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate of a State-accredited School of Nursing.
- Willing to obtain or have NPI and an Ohio Medicaid number
Preferred Qualifications: (This may or may be added based on position)
- More than two years of hospital experience with one year of psychiatric nursing experience with children and/or adults.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, or assist in moving up to 50 pounds independently and heavier weights with assistance
- Must be able to physically participate in approved crisis intervention and safety procedures, including physical escorts, therapeutic holds, and restraint interventions
