Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized nonprofit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community, is seeking a Crisis Technician for our Crisis Stabilization Unit in Lima, Ohio. In this role, you will support people experiencing mental health issues through direct care, coordination, and a safe therapeutic environment.

Job Duties

• Coordinate client admission, stay, and discharge, including follow up with clients, support systems, treatment teams, and community providers.
• Provide direct client care, support, education, and interventions that promote independence and treatment goals.
• Monitor client needs, progress, behaviors, and changes; document care and report concerns or unusual incidents.
• Help clients develop skills, build independence, and participate in treatment planning.
• Monitor medications and report concerns or side effects to nursing staff as needed.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation and maintain a safe, clean, therapeutic environment.
• Participate in treatment teams, meetings, supervision, training, safety drills, and new staff orientation.

Available Shifts

Full-time openings on first, second, and third shifts. Some weekend availability is required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work some weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or five years of experience in mental health.
• Experience in crisis intervention.
