Director of Administrative Support and Medical Records

Coleman Health Services is a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community. This role oversees the administrative support and records teams across Summit, Stark, and Richland counties, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and communication to improve client care and service delivery. The Director of Administrative Support and Medical Records position is an in-office position Monday through Friday and has the ability to be based out of our Akron or Canton, Ohio offices.

What are we looking for from a Director of Administrative Support and Medical Records?
- Collaborating with Chief Officers for office needs and efficiency
- Overseeing and training new support staff and records staff
- Conducting monthly staff meetings and holding individual supervision
- Coordinating service line activities
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications for Director of Administrative Support and Medical Records:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related work in mental health, substance use, and/or healthcare experience
- Proficiency in using PC-based computers and programming, including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
- Prefer 5 years' experience in administrative support and/or medical records and an understanding of insurance collection/medical electronic health records
