Jail Liaison Counselor/Prescreener (LSW, LPC)

Seeking a full time individual to provide mental health services to inmates who are in the Trumbull County jail in Warren, Ohio and to coordinate care up to 30 days after release.

Must have minimum Ohio licensure as LSW or LPC, one or more years of experience in a mental health or crisis unit work setting, knowledge and skill relative to mental illness and related dynamics, psychiatric emergencies, behavioral, risk and diagnostic assessment, therapeutic communication, crisis triage and intervention, de-escalation, treatment modalities, and service delivery systems in behavioral health and related fields.

Must have valid driver's license. Must pass required background check and driving record check. LPCC/LISW preferred (with NPI number, enrolled as a provider to bill Ohio Medicaid, and have a CAQH account created).
