Adult Mobile Crisis Counselor - FT - Marion and Crawford Counties, OH

Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed independent social worker and/or counseling individual to provide crisis intervention and counseling services to adults and families in various community settings throughout Marion & Crawford Counties, Ohio. This position will be located at our office in Marion, Ohio.

Duties of Adult Mobile Crisis Counselor:

  • Dedicated crisis counselor for adults in crisis.
  • Provide Travel throughout Marion & Crawford Counties to provide crisis assessment/intervention, safety planning, and follow up care.
  • Provide brief intervention along with ongoing assessment and linkage to services.

Qualifications of Adult Mobile Crisis Counselor:

  • Masters with LISW Licensure
  • 2 years' or more experience working in the behavioral healthcare field
  • Eligible for or have an NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number
  • Have/maintain an excellent driving record

Preference given to candidates with:

  • Work experience with adults and families in community behavioral health or crisis intervention setting
  • Experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care
