Crisis Counselor (Youth) - FT (1st & 2nd Shifts) - Trumbull County, Ohio

Coleman Health Services, formerly Coleman Professional Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of  behavioral health and rehabilitation programs is seeking a social work and/or counseling individual to provide crisis intervention and counseling services to youth and families in various community settings throughout Trumbull County, Ohio. Duties include:

·  Work with youth and families in crisis throughout Trumbull County as part of the Youth Mobile Response Team

·  Provide crisis assessment, safety planning, and follow up care

·  Work together with team of counselors/social workers, case managers, and family peer support specialist while maintaining positive relationships with community professionals

Qualified candidates will have their Master's degree along with LSW or LPC licensure, must be eligible for an NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number, have and maintain an excellent driving record, and 2 years' experience working in the behavioral healthcare field. Prefer someone with LISW or LPCC licensure, work experience in community behavioral health or crisis intervention setting, and someone with experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care.
