Mental Health Technician (RO) - FT/PT - Stark County

Seeking dependable individuals to work with people with mental illness in a residential setting. The individuals will be working in group living facilities in the Canton, Ohio. Responsibilities include assisting residents working on recovery, monitoring behaviors, assisting with accessing community resources/agencies, meal preparation, and working on housing goals. This position pays $12.00/hour. Great opportunity for individuals with their STNA license.

Qualified candidates must have high school diploma and experience working with people with disabilities, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, adults or related field, and/or lived experience with Peer Support Certification.  A clean driving record is also required.  Must be willing to work different shifts, weekends, and rotate holidays.  BA/BS in social services field and experience working with mental health behaviors preferred.  Good organizational skills, working knowledge of computers and willingness to apply skills a plus.
