Coleman Professional Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs, is seeking an individual with lived experience of achieving and maintaining successful recovery. The Peer Mentor will work with the Access team, responding together to calls twenty-four hours a day, engaging clients who are experiencing a mental health and/or substance use crisis. The individuals will connect persons seen, to recovery services and resources. The Peer Mentor will share personal recovery experiences, demonstrate and model effective coping techniques and self-help strategies. Assist in maximizing independent community skills and demonstrating appropriate home living skills. Represents the program in a positive and professional manner.
