Peer Support (SUD) - PT (16 hrs/wk) - Summit County, Ohio

Coleman Health Services is seeking someone to join our Team and SUD program to work with the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) population in Summit County, Ohio.  Responsibilities include connecting clients to recovery resources especially in recreational activities in a drug and alcohol free environment. Individual will share personal recovery experiences, demonstrate and model effective coping techniques and self-help strategies. Must be able to transport clients.??Must have?and?maintain excellent driving record and able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our consumers.?OMHAS Peer Recovery Certification?preferred. Must have own reliable?transportation/vehicle and auto insurance.? Will assist with certification if needed. Responsibilities will also include establishing client outreach plans, providing support in development and accomplishment of goals, and establishing community/client relationships. Assist clients with daily living skills, and assisting them in their Individual Service Plans and connection with appointments. Agency cell phone provided for work. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour!

Qualified candidates:

-High school diploma

-OHMAS Peer Recovery Certification preferred but not required 

-Lived experience and sustained recovery from a substance

-Have/maintain excellent driving records (Coleman car available at times for use)

-Have or willing to obtain NPI and Ohio Medicaid numbers
