If you want to make a difference, we want you on our team!  As a CME Outreach & Resource Specialist, you will complete the initial outreach for new clients, support them with any immediate needs, and assist staff with accessing local resources and supports. The position will be based out of our Akron office.

What are we looking for from you? 

·  Ability to actively engage families and explain OhioRISE services and benefits.

·  Assist in the assessment and triaging of immediate needs as well as providing linkage to any pertinent services, supports, or resources.

·  Actively communicate with local partners to obtain collateral information and provide status updates.

·  Ensures a warm handoff to the assigned care coordinator following admission to OhioRISE.

What Qualifications will you need to be successful as a CME Intake Specialist (Youth/YoungAdults)?

·  High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years experience (or 2 years experience with an associate's/bachelor's degree or 1 year of experience with a master's degree) in children's behavioral health, mental health, or a related public sector providing community-based services to children and youth and their families or caregivers

·  Ability to manage complex cases to work with children and families who are engaged in one or more child-serving systems

·  Able to effectively communicate with youth, caregivers, multi-disciplinary staff, and partner agencies

·  Have and maintain an excellent driving record

Preference given to the following candidates:

·  Master's degree with LSW/LISW/LISWS, LPC/LPCC/LPCCS, MFT/IMFT/IMFTS

·  Has NPI and Ohio Medicaid numbers
