Coleman Health Services is a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community. We are seeking a Community Outreach Liaison in Allen County, Ohio.
Seeking an individual who can formulate policies and peer support services, exhibits active listening and advocacy to Changing Seasons members and others. Establish supportive relationships with other community operations, such as soup kitchens, drop in centers, etc. Coordinate trips to various community events in efforts to connect the client in their community. Assist in maximizing independent community skills and demonstrating appropriate home living skills. Represents the program in a positive and professional manner, both in the workplace and in the community. Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress related to working with persons who are experiencing mental health concerns and crises. Must have good face to face interaction, knowledge of electronic communication, and organizational ability. Associate's degree preferred.
