Director of Administrative Support and Medical Records

Coleman Health Services is seeking an administrative support and records professional to be the Director of Administrative Support & Medical Records team in Portage County! This position is in-office Monday - Friday, located in Ravenna.

Director of Administrative Support & Medical Records duties include:

  • Provide coordination of office support staff and records department schedules and logistics
  • Provide recruit and train new support and records staff
  • Coordinate providers schedules
  • Provide administrative supervision to admin support and records departments

Minimum Qualification for Director of Administrative Support & Medical Records:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in administrative support and/or medical records work
  • Proficiency in using PC-based computers and programming, including Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualification for Director of Administrative Support & Medical Records:

  • 3+ years of related work in mental health, substance use, and/or healthcare experience
  • Degree in Health Information Technology (and/or related certifications, i.e. RHIT)
