Billing Specialist - FT - Portage County

We are seeking a full-time Billing Specialist to be working on site in our Kent location.

Job duties included for the Billing Specialist:

  • Provide support for the processing of Medicaid and  Managed Care billings
  • Ensure the accuracy, compliance, and water-falling of claims
  • Represents the Company in related matters, and more

Minimum Qualifications needed to be a successful Billing Specialist:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years working experience in the billing and/or fiscal operations
  • A strong understanding of Behavioral Health billing guidelines, Ohio Medicaid and Managed Care payors and their expectations
  • Knowledge of eligibility requirements
  • Knowledge of Behavioral Health billing guidelines, SmartCare EHR system and Microsoft Office is preferred
