We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Team Lead to join our team. This position may be based in Youngstown or Steubenville, Ohio. Must live in Mahoning, Columbiana, or Jefferson County. No weekends, major holidays, or on-call responsibilities!
Job
Duties of the Registered Nurse (RN) Team Leader include, but not limited to:
- Assumes responsibility and
accountability for the delivery of nursing services
- Supervises RN's, LPN's, and Medical
Assistants in Business Unit
- Assists Chief Nursing Officer with
key indicators and achieving Business Unit goals
- Provides a percentage of direct
care, which includes facilitating social and emotional needs, supervising
medication schedules, and evaluating patient progress
- Comply with all laws and compliance
standards relevant to the work being performed

Registered
Nurse (RN) Team Leader Requirements:
- Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Has or willing to obtain NPI and
Ohio Medicaid numbers (we can assist!)
- Familiarity with community systems
and agencies
- Knowledge of and ability to use
effective communication and crisis intervention skills
- Able to work effectively and
collaboratively as a team, interacting with clients of various populations
(SUD, MH, BH, DD, SPMI, etc.), external care providers, consulting
psychiatrist, other clinicians, and administrative and support staff
- Able to exercise balanced judgment
in evaluating situations and making decisions, and to handle difficult or
confrontational situations in a calm, consistent, and equitable manner.
- Prefer three
years' experience in a psychiatric nursing or community mental health
setting
