Power BI Developer/Support Analyst

The Power BI Developer/Support Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory reporting needs across the organization. The position also supports data governance, data quality initiatives, and the standardization of reporting practices across the enterprise. This position is full-time on site in our Kent, Ohio, office Monday - Friday as this is not a remote position. Note that visa sponsorship is not available and we do not provide relocation assistance.

What are we looking for from you as the Power BI Developer/Support Analyst?

  • Design, develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and data visualizations for clinical, operational, financial, and executive stakeholders
  • Build and optimize data models using Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and related tools
  • Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and root-cause analysis
  • Support data extraction, transformation, and integration efforts from electronic health record systems, operational applications, and other internal or external data sources
  • Apply analytical techniques including trend analysis, data mining, statistical review, and pattern recognition
  • Provide user training and support for Power BI content, self-service analytics, and reporting tools across the organization
  • Work independently and with cross-functional teams to prioritize requests, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Participate in data governance, reporting standards, and metric definition activities as assigned

What qualifications will you need to be a successful Power BI Developer/Support Analyst?

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field
  • 3-5 years' professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or data analysis roles
  • Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis
  • Experience with DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and visualization best practices
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and translating business requirements into analytical solutions
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a closely related industry
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Strong follow-through; organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in a cross-functional team environment

Preference given to the following candidates:

  • Experience working with electronic health record data, clinical outcomes reporting, or regulated healthcare reporting requirements
  • Experience with predictive analytics, statistical analysis, or performance improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with data governance, master data concepts, and enterprise reporting standards
  • Experience training end users or supporting self-service BI adoption
