Director of Mobile Response - FT - Stark County, OH

Coleman Health Services is seeking a passionate and motivated social work and/or counseling individual to provide crisis intervention and counseling services to individuals in homes, emergency rooms, and various community settings. This position is full-time or part-time and has flexibility in the hours/shifts you would be wanting to work. Salary up to $70,000/yr. based on Licensure (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC), experience and shift.

  • Part-Time Afternoon
  • Full-Time Afternoon
  • Full-Time Midnight includes a $5k Sign-on-bonus!

Mobile Response Counselor / Social Worker Duties include:

  • Respond to individuals in crisis throughout Stark County to determine level of care needed for safety of client and others
  • Triage, engagement, assessment, and trauma-informed behavioral health interventions to foster crisis resolution
  • Collaboration with Police, fire, and EMS to assist in the assessment process
  • Function as part of an interdisciplinary team and develop and maintain effective relationship with community professionals
  • Complete necessary training to become certified to issue applications for emergency admissions "Pink Slips"
  • Maintain timely documentation of crisis interactions and outcomes

Qualifications of Mobile Response Counselor / Social Worker:

  • Master's degree along with LSW/LISW or LPC/LPCC licensure
  • Must be eligible for an NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Must be willing to complete and have favorable results for criminal background check, drug/alcohol screening, and driving check if selected for the position

Preference given to the following candidates:

  • Past or current work experience in an emergency room, community behavioral health or crisis intervention setting
  • Past or current Experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care

This crucial position is available thanks to a nearly $4 million SAMHSA grant that Coleman received to implement Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) in our service areas of greatest need.
