Crisis Line Specialist

Coleman Health Services is a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community. We are seeking a Crisis Line Specialist Specialist in our Lima, OH office. This is not a remote position.

3rd Shift: 12:00am - 8:00 am; Some weekend availability is required.

Duties include:

  • Provide crisis intervention, support and referrals via chat or text
  • Effectively complete risk assessments via chat or text
  • Work collaboratively with the visitor to create a safety plan
  • Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, objectivity, professionalism, effective customer service skills and sound judgment in the course of all work.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure client needs are met
  • Consult with a supervisor on clinical needs as appropriate
  • Accurately document interactions

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Must be willing to complete and have favorable results for criminal background check and driving check if selected for the position
  • Past or current experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care is preferred
