The Information Technology Project Coordinator will perform multiple roles within the IT Department, including coordinating IT projects internal to the IT team or projects that may involve coordination with other departments, or third-party vendors.   The IT Project Coordinator will assist with projects including but not limited to IT equipment and software upgrades and enhancements, system integrations, new technology pilots and implementations, as well as site relocations and expansions.

What skills and experience are we seeking for the Information Technology Project Coordinator position?                                   

-IT Project Coordination

?Work with the Vice President of Operations and Information Technology to develop and update project plans for assigned IT projects.

?Coordinate and ensure project plans are executed and completed on time and within scope and budget.

?Collaborate with vendors to ensure action steps are completed on time.

?Establish relationships with vendors to obtain competing vendor bids and Requests for Proposals

?Deliver project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical and operational feasibility.

?Perform necessary system testing as it relates to the project tasks, goals, and outcomes.

?Collaborate with Coleman's Training Team and IT Managed Service Provider to document new applied technology for the purpose of training staff on proper usage or application.

?Recommend process and task improvements to supervisor as appropriate.

?Document configurations and processes. 

?Perform other duties assigned.

-IT Service Coordination

?Collaborate with IT Managed Service Provider for the procurement and distribution of technology equipment and peripherals.

?Maintain inventory of Coleman equipment and coordinate regular maintenance, repair, replacement, or upgrades.

?Coordinate with IT Managed Service Provider to escalate priority application, network, or equipment issues.

?Interact with core applications including, but not limited to, Electronic Health Record, Human Resources Information System, Clinical and Financial corporate dashboards.

?Track and maintain telecommunications contracts to ensure the organization's preparedness to negotiate and renew existing services or enter into new contracts with competing vendors.

What qualifications will you need to be successful in the Information Technology Project Coordinator role?                                       

-Associate degree or equivalent education

-2 to 4 years of experience in the field or related area

-Excellent collaboration, time management, and communication skills

-Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and deadlines

-Able to work effectively and collaboratively as a team, interacting with and employees and vendors

-Excellent customer service and attitude

-Comfort with and aptitude for technology

Preference given to the following candidates: 

-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration-related field

-4 to 6 years of experience in the field or related area

-Experience with project management and/or time management tools

-Familiar with electronic health record software

-Prior experience in Behavioral Health or closely related field

-Understanding of computer networks, telecommunications, and basic technical troubleshooting
