Housing Technician

We are seeking a dependable individual to work full time with people who have a mental illness and/or substance use disorder. This individual will be working in a supportive residential setting with residents who are housed through our program in Steubenville, Ohio.

This position is for afternoon turn, 4:00 pm - 12:00 midnight, Saturday - Wednesday.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents working on recovery and their ability to maintain stable housing,
  • Monitoring behaviors
  • Conflict resolution/mediation,
  • Assisting with housekeeping, daily living skills,
  • Coordination of appointments
  • Documentation.

Minimum Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people; experience working with individuals with mental health and/or physical disabilities; computer skills. Preferred Qualifications: At least one year working in a residential setting and/or experience working at a community mental health center. Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
