Compliance Officer (CME/OhioRISE) - FT - Portage County, OH

If you want to make a difference, we want you on our team!  As a Compliance Officer (CME/OhioRISE), you will be a highly detailed compliance professional who has the drive to support CHS in providing the highest quality care to clients and our community. Under the direction of the Chief Officer of Compliance, this position completes quality assurance and compliance activities to ensure adherence to all program standards, regulations, and laws. This position is based out of our Kent, Ohio, office.

What are we looking for from the Compliance Officer (CME/OhioRISE)

·  Involved with fidelity review process

·  Works with Chief Officer on Aetna or ODM program audit review requests

·  Assist with reviewing/updating policies and procedures to ensure compliant and monitors the impact of services delivered

·  Contribute to recommendations made to CME leadership in response to policy/procedure changes as it relates to documentation and service delivery

·  Ensure agency maintains a structured process to measure, assess, and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of services to identify gaps in service; monitor compliance with state and other regulating bodies; and promote opportunities to improve service delivery

·  Evaluate, analyze, and implementation of remediation plans for quality improvement

·  Submits periodic quality and performance reporting to leadership and regulating bodies.

What Qualifications will you need to be successful as a Compliance Officer (CME/OhioRISE)?

·  Bachelors degree or higher in related field required

·  At least two years of experience in behavioral health with quality assurance; compliance and survey/accreditation process knowledge

·  At least five years of experience in behavioral health care

·  Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR)

·  Able to travel to various CHS locations as needed for accreditation and surveying process, in person meetings and presentations.

·  Have and maintain an excellent driving record

Preference given to the following candidates:

·  Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)

·  LSW, RN, LPC, LPCC or LISW licensure
